| A fowl fact - nearly 1/2 of all chicken consumed in the US comes from fast food restaurants. |

Art of Living Well is a resource available to provide
support, information and instruction to those seeking
a natural approach to living well. Based in Clearwater,
Florida, Art of Living Well's mission is twofold:
1)
to educate as to the health benefits of eating raw,
living foods and
2) to teach food preparation in a way that is simple,
convenient and delicious.
I founded Art of Living Well after years of struggling
with my own transition to a healthier diet.
With few opportunities to actually learn hands-on
from those living a raw food lifestyle, knowing
what to do and how to do it was sometimes a frustration.
When I started, I knew that the answer to my health
challenges was in changing what I was eating, but
that wasn't as easy as it sounded. I didn't particularly
like being in the kitchen. I knew how to make
a couple of things, which I quickly got very tired
of eating. Trying new things was frequently comical, if not disastrous.
I went to some workshops (one of which I had to
fly across the country to attend.) I read a lot
of books and spent a lot of time experimenting in
the kitchen. To my amazement, the more I learned,
the more I started enjoying the time I was spending
preparing healthy meals - and they even
tasted good! The best part was the way I felt because
I was feeding my body what it needed to be healthy.

I know it's not easy changing something as
ingrained as our eating habits, nevermind the way
we relate to food emotionally, but it is completely
necessary if we truly want to achieve vibrant health.
Now, I hope to help others to learn from the time
and energy I have invested.
